Cuba 2012

Ciao Toronto!

Our arrival in Varadero was met with gloomy skies ;n;

The first hotel we stayed at was an all-inclusive resort.

Never in my life have I seen such beautiful architecture. The building are all so colourful. ಥ⌣ಥ

One of the highlights of our trip was no doubt seeing wild dolphins while on our mini “cruise”. Despite rape cave stories, I believe they are still cute little creatures.
Stray dogs like these were a common sight on the streets of Havana. Most of them were always lazing around in the shade—living the good life.

I asked my dad to take a picture of me “touching” the tip of the monument and this was the result… ._.

Second largest mural in the world, I believe. Mural de la Prehistoria located in the Vinales Valley.

On the very last day, we found out that our flight was cancelled due to a problem with the airplane’s engine. No, we did not receive a meal voucher … but a paid overnight stay at a high class hotel makes up for the inconvenience :) Customer service: Air Canada you are doing it right.

Not a spec of green in this meal—my diet was temporarily put on hold for the week. I regret nothing ( ̄。 ̄) However the best food I’ve ever eaten was at a local paladere. Neglected to take a picture though huhu

The mangoes and guava fruits are to die for. Yummy in my tummy.
